Tràmits administratius per a l’homologació de titulacions estrangeres en psicologia

Durant les darreres setmanes, hem rebut informació per part de la Delegació de Govern del Ministeri d’Educació sobre els tràmits administratius que han de realitzar els/les psicòlegs/òlogues que disposen de la seva titulació en psicologia a l’estranger.

Per poder exercir la psicologia a Espanya, és obligatori disposar de l’homologació de la titulació que, alhora, permet la col·legiació. Així doncs, els/les professionals estrangers/eres tenen dues possibilitats per homologar els seus estudis:

1.- Els/les psicòlegs/òlogues que tinguin formació i/o experiència en l’àmbit clínic/sanitari al seu país, poden sol·licitar directament l’homologació a psicòleg/òloga general sanitari a través del Ministeri d’Educació, on es podran informar de la documentació acadèmica i els tràmits necessaris per formalitzar les sol·licituds clicant a través del següent enllaç:

2.- Els/les psicòlegs/òlogues que tinguin únicament la titulació de psicologia al seu país, tenen la possibilitat de realitzar la convalidació universitària a grau espanyol. Les universitats disposen de places destinades al reconeixement d’estudis realitzats a l’estranger. Cal acabar de cursar (posteriorment a la revisió del vostre expedient) les assignatures que es determinin per a l’obtenció del títol de psicologia en espanyol.

Administrative formalities for the homologation of foreign degrees in psychology

During the last weeks, the Government Delegation of the Ministry of Education has given us information regarding the administrative formalities to do for the psychologists who have been graduated abroad.

To practice as a psychologist in Spain, it is mandatory to have the degree’s homologation. This homologation allows the professional association. Thus, foreign professionals have two possibilities to validate their studies:

1.- The psychologists who have an academic education or professional experience in the clinical/health field in their country, can request the general health psychologist homologation directly through the Ministry of Education, which will inform them about the academic documentation and the formalities they need to formalize their request. 2.- The psychologists who only have the psychology bachelor’s degree in their country, have the possibility to validate their academic foreign program with the Spanish one. Spanish universities have some places reserved for the recognition of studies carried out abroad. After reviewing the academic report of the requesters, it will be necessary for them to finish coursing the must-be subjects to obtain the Spanish bachelor’s degree in psychology.
